At Chandax, our primary aim is to provide automation, marketing instruments, and consultancy services to the ship supply industry. Our offerings include:
RFQ Automation: Streamlining the request-for-quotation process for maritime suppliers. The service is in a development phase, and access to it is provided to selected suppliers only.
Vessel Contacts: Access to the database of Vessel and Vessel Manager contacts, bundled with Vessel schedules and basic details about managing company.
We are committed to enhancing and expanding our services to meet the evolving needs of our users. This means that from time to time, new services may be introduced, and existing ones may undergo improvements.
We are free to make any changes or updates to our services of whatever nature. Such changes may but are not necessarily communicated to our users, including via email and/or on the website.
By subscribing to access our Vessel Contacts service, or by using any part of our Website, or by utilizing RFQ automation, you are indicating your consent and agreement to these Terms. If you do not agree with the Terms, you must immediately cancel your subscription and stop all use of the Services.
These Terms apply to the Customer only and, in the absence of any written agreement between the Customer and Chandax, will not be considered applicable to any subsidiary or holding of the Customer.
If you subscribe to any of the Services, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your subscription and account, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with the subscription. You must immediately notify Chandax of any unauthorized uses of your account or any other breaches of security. Chandax will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions. You must be a human. Accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted. You must provide your legal full name, a valid email address, and any other information requested to complete the subscription (sign-up, registration) process. You must not, in the use of the Services, violate any laws in your jurisdiction and in the jurisdiction that is applicable to Chandax's operation. You must not create more than one account. You must not share your account with others.
Paid services are available on the Services. By selecting to subscribe to the paid services, you agree to pay Chandax the monthly or annual subscription fees indicated for that subscription. Payments will be charged on a prepaid basis on the day you sign up for the Services and will cover the use of that service for a monthly or annual subscription period, as requested by you. Subscription fees are non-refundable. To prevent fraud, we might temporarily disable your account after subscription to perform a manual verification.
Unless you notify Chandax before the end of the applicable subscription period that you want to cancel a subscription, your subscription will automatically renew, and you authorize us to collect the then-applicable annual or monthly subscription fee for such a subscription (as well as any applicable taxes) using any credit card or other payment mechanism we have on record for you.
By subscribing to any of the services, you agree to pay Chandax the monthly or annual subscription fees published on the Website as of when you registered for the Services. Applicable fees will be invoiced starting from the day your paid account is established and in advance of using the paid Services. Your monthly or annual subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it. Chandax reserves the right to change the payment terms and fees upon thirty (30) days’ prior written notice to you. Unless mentioned otherwise, the prices do not include taxes. Chandax might change the amount charged for an ongoing subscription if we're required by law to collect new taxes.
Chandax does not provide refunds to users who request the cancellation of Services, regardless of the reason for the request. You may cancel your account at any time via email to Chandax or in the applicable section of your account's dashboard. If you cancel paid Services, the cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. Thereafter, Chandax will cease charging you for paid services and will disable your paid account.
By creating and subscribing to the Services, you grant Chandax a perpetual worldwide license to use your company's name and logo(s) for the sole purpose of Chandax's marketing and sales efforts, such as listing you as a Chandax customer on the Website. You may revoke this license at any time by notifying Chandax via email.
By creating an account on our service, you agree to subscribe to newsletters or marketing materials and other information we may send. However, you may opt out of receiving any or all of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link if provided in the email we send or by submitting a written request to our email.
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. It is our policy to respond to any claim that Content posted on the Services infringes on the copyright or other intellectual property rights ("Infringement") of any person or entity.

In the case of a paid subscription, Chandax will refund the unused portion of your prepaid subscription amount within sixty (60) days, which will be paid to the same payment method you used to open the account.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless and our licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access to the Service, b) a breach of these Terms.
In no event shall Chandax, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
